Heinemann Dairy

Luke Heinemann and his four children Emma, Lane, Lyla, and Natalie run a small dairy farm near Medical Lake, WA. Luke is a 3rd generation dairy farmer who has been dairying full-time for 23 years. As they are their own best customers, great care is always given to all of their animals! They all strongly believe in having happy, healthy cows and knowing where your food comes from.

Luke milked up to 100 cows before downsizing to 60 in 2018, and now milks 15-20 A2A2 Holsteins. He enjoys milking less cows as it gives him more time to raise his family and enjoy dairy farming. Luke is excited to support his community with delicious local milk, and have dairy products available in regional stores.

We also provide retail space to other local farms and to increase community food access. We are very deliberate in what we have in our Chewelah store to support our local agricultural community.
